ABOUT
For Talgh’s Essential Deodorant, I translated creamy vanilla and sandalwood into folds, ripples and dense, reflective surfaces. The photographed cylinder sits within a generative material world that shifts from soft silver to deep black. In the more abstract images, the wordmark becomes part of the surface itself. I led the series from concept through photography, AI image-making and post-production. Precise product studies sit alongside more fluid brand imagery, with light, scale and material response developed as a single visual language. PROCESS
The product photography established the cylinder’s proportions, paper texture, lettering and light. I built the surrounding surfaces with generative AI, treating their weight and flow as an expression of the scent. Compositing and retouching joined the photographed object to those forms; the abstract images extend the same treatment into a wider brand vocabulary. The finish depended on small decisions about reflection, edge, scale and the way the wordmark sits within the material.
