ABOUT
A perfume film built around the moment darkness starts to give way. Buio moves from a black landscape through skin, fluid and eclipse-like forms, arriving at the Meo Fusciuni bottle in a narrow band of amber light. I conceived and directed the film. The product shots were filmed practically; every other shot was made with generative AI. Landscape, bodily detail and product imagery belong to the same slow, tactile sequence. I carried the work through image-making, editing and colour grading, following a gradual passage from cold blue into amber. My team created the original score and sound design. PROCESS
Circular forms connect the film’s changes of scale, from a pupil to an eclipse and the dark glass of the bottle. I developed the generated imagery around that motif and a controlled progression of colour and light. Editing, compositing and grading brought those sequences together with the practically filmed product shots. An original score and sound design, created by my team, carry the film’s rhythm and atmosphere.
