As a Documentary/Fact-Ent director you are constantly met with access challenges so it’s fun to have no limits with this imagined film. I wanted to make the characters feel real and people you want to spend time with, and I’ve always thought the setting of a fixed-rig dating show is a brilliant place for a romantic comedy/murder mystery so it was a delight to bring that to life. I’ve tried to make it as technically perfect as possible. Character consistency, voice consistency, no weird AI glitches, an upscale that doesn’t impose random faces on out of focus background characters.
