PROCESS
Produced in 15 hours. FLARE cuts between two lines: an intimate one, whispered and tender, and an action one, raw and on motorbikes. The reason the city hunts them is never named in the teaser; the mystery drives the edit. The cast was built first and registered as named references: Kai, Noa, the antagonist and a pack of four riders, along with the bikes and key props. Keyframes were generated with Nano Banana Pro, then animated with Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0. The main problem was bodies freezing into mannequins whenever they had nothing to do. Every prompt was rewritten to put effort, imbalance or a micro-gesture into the body itself, and the keyframes carried the same dynamic (tilt, motion blur, weight off centre). Speed is carried by the surroundings: streaking backgrounds, wind in clothing, a camera struggling to keep pace. Whenever an image looked too clean, lens and lighting specifications were cut and replaced by the language of documentary: handheld, dirty light. The climactic rooftop jump took the most iterations, in day and night versions.
