ABOUT
"What It Absorbs, It Becomes" explores the boundary between organic and inorganic matter through a hybrid CGI/AI pipeline — combining Blender simulation with generative texture built from my own macro photography, directed in detail at every stage rather than left to the model.

PROCESS
Process : Forms are generated by simulating forces of attraction and repulsion in CGI. The subtle undulations and imperceptible shifts the human eye reads as natural are sculpted by hand. Procedural variation is introduced through controlled randomness. RGB values are used as a strong anchor to guide the AI. Texture and world-building: A Blender clay render, with its lighting and shadow, forms the base for the texture and overall visual world. Generation is then controlled through my own photographs. Using i2i, I define precisely how each part feeds into the image, down to the finest detail.
