ABOUT
For GQ Italia × Dior Beauty, I treated Sauvage Extrait as geology. Dark glass, amber-coloured structures, raw oud and botanical fragments form a dense, luminous world. The bottle appears as a monolith, then almost disappears into the material around it. I photographed and directed the visuals, combining a practical studio shoot with AI image-making. Product fidelity governed the work, from lettering and glass thickness to the behaviour of light through the surrounding forms. Monumental viewpoints and immersive macro detail carry the same physical precision. The commission spans GQ Italia’s September 2026 editorial and imagery used commercially by Dior Beauty. PROCESS
The visual direction grew from material research into how dense, amber-coloured forms could hold light and alter the apparent scale of the bottle. I worked with the set and lighting team to realise that world physically, then brought the photographic and AI work through a shared finishing process. Geometry, lettering, surface and light were judged to the same standard throughout, so the series reads as one world.
