ABOUT
The cinematic title sequence for Paper & Light Films—my independent film and AI production passion project. Inspired by my love of science fiction, alien encounters, and breathtaking worlds, this intro brings the meaning behind the name to life. The person holding a sheet of paper represents where my stories begin: imagination, writing, and rewriting. The light represents those stories becoming films that I can share with the world. Paper & Light Films is where I’m exploring short films, AI filmmaking, visual effects, UGC, and advertising—with storytelling at the center.

PROCESS
I created this title sequence for my production company, Paper & Light Films, around a simple idea: paper is where the story begins, and light is how it reaches an audience. The lone figure holding a sheet of paper brings that meaning into a cinematic sci-fi setting. Working with ChatGPT Astra, I developed the concept and storyboard before generating video. We mapped out the progression from silence to an overwhelming beam of light, then into a glitching studio-name reveal. I wanted the sequence to feel mysterious and breathtaking, with a sense of encountering something much larger than ourselves. I tested Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.5, comparing how closely each followed the storyboard, handled the lighting, and delivered the lettering effects. Seedance produced the version that best matched my vision. I then used Runway for upscaling and visual enhancement, and ElevenLabs for the cinematic music. Throughout the process, I focused on keeping the silhouette, paper, and studio name readable while balancing the intense light against deep blacks. This is a personal passion project, with AI tools supporting my creative direction from the initial idea through the finished sequence.
