A feature film I co-directed and acted in: in part an homage to Federico Fellini and Tonino Guerra, and a venture into a lighter genre. The story of a perfectionist director and an eccentric opera diva evolves into a conversation about art's impact on the human soul and the unexpected reality of what a fiction can become. In other words: this film is a convergence of backstage mirth, an adventurous spirit, and sincere faith. Much of it is cinema in the classical style: the opera singer sang live in her own voice during filming, and the crew members play themselves as characters. The film combines this live-action footage with AI-generated scenes.
