One of the first 3D animation and AI hybrids, this experimental short film follows a purple character that didn't get their own soup. A story inspired by “I, We, Waluigi: a Post-Modern analysis of Waluigi” by Franck Ribery.

PROCESS
Fanart for the four characters was human made in different styles. That fanart got consensually fed to a LoRA model, which learned how each character looked. The animation was 3D animated and later each single frame was given to Stable Diffusion. The process was an experiment to find a balance between the animator's control and the generative weirdness of it all.
