ABOUT
Created as part of an exploration into the use of sensorial AI to communicate organisational complexity, this AI-assisted film examines the relationship between formal authority and informal influence. Drawing on organisational behaviour, leadership development, systems psychodynamics and systems thinking, the work explores how cultural traditions, collective expectations and external forces shape who is recognised, followed and invested with authority. Through architecture, light and movement, the piece seeks to make visible the often unseen dynamics that influence leadership within human systems
PROCESS
Built in Seedance 2.5 as part of an exploration into how sensorial AI can communicate organisational complexity. The project began with an organisational leader's published account of a change initiative. I translated systems psychodynamics concepts into architectural and movement-based metaphors. Multiple generations were reviewed, with outputs evaluated against the extent to which they visualised authority, influence and group dynamics through metaphor rather than explanation. The final sequence was selected for its ability to depict shifting leadership authority and collective behaviour within a complex organisational and cultural system of a global region.
