PROCESS
I built the visual direction around the song’s emotional progression: loss, isolation, pressure, release, and finally hope. Before generating the final sequences, I developed a visual language based on rain, wind, reflections, empty environments, restrained character performance, and changing light. The darker sections use tighter framing, heavier atmosphere, and more unstable movement. As the track opens up, the compositions become wider, movement becomes more fluid, and warmer light begins to enter the frame. I generated multiple variations for key moments, testing camera movement, performance, atmosphere, and continuity rather than simply choosing the most visually impressive result. Shots that felt overly artificial, melodramatic, repetitive, or disconnected from the music were discarded. The final edit was built around the rhythm and emotional dynamics of the track, using quieter visual moments to give the larger sections more impact. AI generation was treated as part of the filmmaking process, not as the final decision-maker.
