High Density is a music video for Univore’s track of the same name, from the album Timelines, built around a strange, hand-drawn world of beach culture, dancing, and increasingly dark imagery. The visual language pulls from naïve folk art, children’s illustration, and imperfect handmade animation, using generative AI to create something deliberately loose, weird, and tactile rather than polished or photoreal. Created using a hybrid AI workflow spanning image generation, video generation, editing, compositing, and sound design.

PROCESS
This one came together pretty quickly, over about three days. I probably went through around 100 generations from initial visual exploration through finding the final look and generating the shots that made the cut.
