ABOUT
A sequel to Runway’s Full Metal Lunchbox — the short where a bandana-wearing broccoli went AWOL in the jungle because, well… no one goes for the broccoli. Twenty years later, the plate has changed. Green smoothies. Wellness culture. “Eat the rainbow.” Broccoli isn’t leftover anymore — he’s popular. And in this war, popular gets eaten. Potato Cap leads what’s left of the Lunchbox Corps back into the mist to settle old bloodwork. Food gore. Kitchen ordinance. Deadpan war-epic sincerity. Same supermarket, higher stakes. We were inspired by Runway's original Full Metal Lunchbox - so much so that we wanted to know what happened next... so we made it. Runway original: https://x.com/runwayml/status/2095866594186461627

PROCESS
Developed the concept and key story beats first, including some of the lines we wanted to deliver to carry over the "lore" of the original. Approx 70 generated video clips in total, amounting to approx $350 in generative spend. Most of the generated audio was replaced with ElevenLabs SFX and background music bed, but all dialogue was the original dialogue from Seedance generations. Mastered/Mixed in Davinci Resolve. Published with permission from Runway.
