A fashion film inspired by Balinese craftsmanship and the tactile beauty of handmade crochet. The concept places AKOIA’s Melati swimsuit between vintage heritage and contemporary fashion imagery.

PROCESS
I began with a visual concept built around the dialogue between Balinese craft heritage and contemporary fashion imagery. The sequence was storyboarded around ornate vintage frames, tactile close-ups and sculptural poses. I generated and tested multiple variations, selecting the final frames for garment accuracy, model consistency, crochet texture, lighting and continuity. Images with distorted anatomy, altered swimsuit details or weaker compositions were discarded. The selected frames were animated, refined and edited into a concise fashion film, with colour, pacing and sound designed to preserve its tactile, cinematic atmosphere.
