ABOUT
what will come after my solitude is a short film generated through an array of AI-driven tools and personal footage and digital art in addition to licensed stock footage. The work translates a personal journal entry written in May 2024—a moment marked by emotional vulnerability and disorientation—into a synthetic, fragmented visual language.

PROCESS
The first iteration of the project was made cutting footage from my archive with footage from my trip to London, where I wrote the letter. This comp of energetic cuts, textures and color was run through a TouchDesigner system and ultimately through stream diffusion. I revised the project because it held deeper meaning to me and I wanted to enhance its emotional aspect. I used Fuser and Runway as platforms of exploration and iteration, using models from Runway and Google to get specific shots. The imagery relates to rocks and minerals as a form of detachment and vulnerability, bodies that transform, humanity that gets lost within rocks. The reference for these images came from a painting I made when thinking of the letter.
