ABOUT
The Fire Thief presents a monumental tower in which the visual language of religion merges with that of technology. Part cathedral, part machine and part spacecraft, the structure is populated by historical thinkers, artificial beings, surveillance systems and exaggerated human personas. The work explores a shift from religious belief toward technology as a source of knowledge and transcendence. It draws on religious architecture and historical frescoes. Throughout the tower, eyes, brains, cameras and computational structures turn observation and cognition into an interconnected system. The Fire Thief becomes a synthetic fresco for the twenty-first century, reflecting on a world in which technology increasingly takes on roles once associated with knowledge, transcendence and the divine.

PROCESS
The Tower is built piece by piece rather than generated as a complete scene. Each building block and character is meticulously designed as an independent animation, and each animation consists of dozens of animated pieces stitched together. Hundreds of separate elements are eventually composited into a single composition. The result is an “altarpiece” in constant, shifting variation. - The final workflow is hybrid. AI-generated animations are combined with traditional 3D software and After Effects.
