ABOUT
Until The Ocean Become An Orange Juice! is a ~2'35" AI-generated fan video set in the Arknights universe, built around Bruno Mars' "Runaway Baby." It follows Penguin Logistics and a beach-load of operators — Rhodes Island, the L.G.D., Karlan Trade, the Abyssal Hunters, and more — as they crash a California-style coastal city for a sunset BBQ party: surfing lessons, beach volleyball, a water-gun duel between Ch'en and W, a tiny volcanic foam eruption, and a final stage set from Emperor himself. Light, summery, and a little chaotic — the whole thing ends on Texas, standing at the edge of the crowd, finally cracking a smile. Visuals were generated with Seedance 2.0 and Image 2.0, then edited and beat-synced in CapCut.

PROCESS
Until The Sea Became An Orange Juice is a summer-themed Arknights fan short built as a warm slice-of-life record of the operators’ happy everyday moments. Despite the playful, surreal title, the piece is not about the sea literally turning into orange juice — it is about light, leisure, and the small joys of summer. I created it with 73 source images and a $100 total production budget, and I carried the entire workflow end-to-end: concept, prompt design, image generation, editing, color grading, and sound. The project is fan-made and non-commercial, but it represents the direction I want to push further on Runway: low-budget, high-emotion AI-native filmmaking where the creator’s judgment — rhythm, restraint, and selection — turns generation into a real viewing experience.
