An original cinematic trailer set in Lisbon during the catastrophic earthquake of 1755. Against the destruction of the city, an action and love story unfolds, combining historical atmosphere, large-scale disaster imagery and character-driven storytelling in an AI-native filmmaking experiment. Still a work in progress.

PROCESS
I began by researching the look and atmosphere of Lisbon before the 1755 earthquake, then developed the trailer around historically grounded environments, characters and cinematic set pieces. The final shots were then edited, graded and sound-designed as a trailer, with pacing and escalation shaped around the emotional build toward the earthquake. The goal was to combine historical atmosphere, cinematic spectacle and character-driven storytelling in an AI-native production workflow.
