ABOUT
Three years after the collapse, Chris, a former firefighter surviving alone in a ruined Rome, clings to a strict set of rules to stay alive. During an unusual therapy session, he reflects on the three types of zombies haunting the city and begins to question whether surviving is still the same as truly living. An independent 11-minute post-apocalyptic episode created primarily with Runway.

PROCESS
Episode 1 was built independently, scene by scene. Rather than treating AI generations as isolated shots, I approached every sequence like a live-action production: character motivation, performance, blocking, camera, eyelines, geography, lighting and sound. The main challenge was maintaining Chris’s identity and emotional continuity across dozens of separately generated shots while keeping the three zombie types visually and behaviorally distinct. Runway was the core production environment, with Seedance used in later sequences. The final 11-minute episode was shaped through editing, dialogue rhythm, sound design and careful continuity. My goal was for the technology to disappear behind the story, so the result would feel like a genuine series episode rather than an AI showcase.
