ABOUT
No Pressure is a short film created for Runway’s Gen:48 filmmaking competition. Built around the constraints of the 48-hour challenge, the film combines dark comedy, surreal imagery, and escalating tension as an increasingly strange situation spirals out of control. The project was an exercise in rapid concepting, visual development, generation, and post-production, taking the film from idea to finished piece in just two days. No Pressure was selected as a Gen:48 Juror Selection.

PROCESS
Aside from the initial character image, which was generated in Midjourney, No Pressure was created entirely in Runway, from image generation through video generation. This was around the point when character consistency was first becoming reliable enough to maintain the same characters across multiple generated shots, which became a major part of the workflow. With only 48 hours to make the film, the process was fast and iterative, generating, testing, and assembling shots as the story took shape.
