ABOUT

Harlem, 1986. Eleven-year-old Darrell, who lives with his drug-addicted mother and has never known his father, discovers a hidden key that opens a locked closet full of his father's belongings, and, inspired by the detective shows he watches late at night, launches his own investigation across the neighborhood, chasing clues object by object, hoping not only to findthe man who disappeared but, secretly, to find a way to save the woman who's still there but slipping away.
