A leather editorial built on the intrecciato weave, carrying the same woven surface across a full set of frames without the material breaking between them. Shot as luxury direction, with one model throughout.

PROCESS
Intrecciato is a specific thing: leather strips crossing over and under by hand, with the tension and irregularity that come from someone having made it. I wanted to see whether a model could actually do it, so I built an editorial around it. Made in Runway. A conceptual project, not commissioned. This was curiosity, not a fight. Intrecciato is a good thing to test because it is easy to fake from two metres away and hard to hold up close, where the strips have to keep passing over and under each other and the weave cannot drift mid panel. I wanted to know whether the model could hold that, so I asked it to, and then read every frame the way I would read a real sample. It did not take much explaining.
