We used the machine to question the machine. The project "Paradox" was created in collaboration with KI Koala, the Berlin-based initiative that developed the concept of Sustainable Prompting® — a framework for conscious, resource-aware AI interaction. The film is the visual expression of that philosophy: not a rejection of technology, but a call to pause and think before we prompt. Produced entirely with AI — image, video, voice, and music. Which is itself part of the argument. We used the machine to question the machine. To start a dialog. A single runner moves through four epochs of human energy consumption — timber, coal, oil, and artificial intelligence. Built around the Jevons Paradox: the more efficient a resource becomes, the more of it we use. A big shout-out to Edgar Linscheid and Ian Delù from KI Koala for this meaningful project. 💪🏼😍✌️
