I played in bands for about 10 years, but life moves on and bands break up. This song was originally written in 2007. We played it live twice. We never recorded it professionally. All that existed was an old practice recording. I used that recording as input and rebuilt the song using AI. I did this with nine other songs that I wrote and performed solo from back then too. The result, a 10 song album. So now I had the music, but before I could create this video, I had to create the band. The members of System Sleep consist of four distinct personalities, each one playing an instrument and singing. I used AI to audition each member as the vocalist across all ten tracks. Then came the music video. For me, this technology didn’t limit my creativity. It unlocked it. This song was written and performed, but never shared — until now.
