After walking out of a burning crash site in the desert, a small gray alien named NULL flees military searchlights, and the agent sent to recover him. Null was bred to be obedient. The edit failed.

PROCESS
Generation took four days. The pipeline behind it took four years. Both numbers are true. The second one is the process. The script was locked before a single frame was generated. Story logic sits upstream of every prompt. Each minute of the film carries a beat assignment: tension, emotional weight, scene type, character presence, duration. I built a custom tool that maps tension and emotional weight on separate axes so I could see where the arc sagged before spending credits on it. Generation renders decisions. It does not make them. Character consistency was the hard technical problem. Two grays, multiple environments, 1947 period detail, 15 minutes of runtime. I run custom ComfyUI workflows tuned for continuity across scenes, sessions, and models, with Midjourney and Nano Banana Pro for design, Seedance 2.0 for motion, Suno and ElevenLabs for sound. Performance was shaped inside generation. The model knows what a face looks like. It does not know what a moment means. Every shot in NULL was directed, regenerated, and cut against the beat map until the moment read. Solo authorship changed the job. No DP catching what I missed, no actor pushing back, no editor finding the cut I could not see. That eye was built over fifteen years in traditional animation and production, then rebuilt for this pipeline. The tools are the brush. The film is the decisions made before the brush touched anything.
