Katherine (Kat) Rodriguez is a New York City-based video editor with over ten years of experience. Her personal practice spans digital animation, watercolor, and 35mm film photography. “Flea” marks her directorial debut: an AI animated short about a girl who must travel to another world to save her pet. Drawn to stories of adventure and magical realism, Kat is interested in using fantastical worlds to ask grounded questions about empathy and consequence.
